Description: Bert Davies Collection. Get off of your soapbox. While ANACS has fallen through the rankings in recent decades, they were at one time the pre-eminent grading service and these four issues prove the point. All four examples are housed in the older “soapbox” style holders and includes an 1879-S MS-65, an 1880-S MS-63DMPL, an 1883-O MS-64DMPL, and an 1885 MS-65DMPL. Highly polished fields contrast adequately frosty subjects making this particular grouping especially attractive (ck).
