Description: On Target Collection. This is a beautiful set of four medallions that were struck in 1876 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of American Independence. Included in this set are two bronze issues and two nearly identical gilded examples that provides a very attractive juxtaposition. All four pieces are still housed in the original display box, although the box has seen its best days pass by (ck).
