Description: Salsa Collection. When these can be found, which is seldom, they tend to be in moderately circulated grade, just as the present example suggests. Elisha Franklin Paxton signed the note as President, but besides such duties, he had also been a lawyer, farmer, and most famously, a brigadier general under Stonewall Jackson. Paxton died in battle at Chancellorsville on May 3, 1863.
