Description: The Sing-A-Song Collection. VAM-8. 163 graded MS-67 (8 have stars), 18 higher at NGC. The GSA sale was most heavily represented by 1884-CC silver dollars, but very few entice the superb-gem grade level out of either major grading service. Merely one-half of one percent achieve the distinction, with this jewel earning accolades for a sensational strike and exceedingly original surfaces. Dramatic toning sweeps diagonally downward over the two-thirds of the obverse, delighting the viewer with feast of tangerine, sea-green, chartreuse and royal gold colors -- most assuredly original bag toning from a likely GSA representative. Some of the lovely hue even spills over to the reverse.
