Description: The Blackhawk Collection. 289 graded AU-58, 44 higher at NGC Luscious, vintage Dijon-grey patina creates a ton of original appeal, illuminated by substantive mint luster. A singular nick in front of the nose bears mention. Taken off the reverse die with a near-complete circumferential die crack. The population report suggests this is not really a "rare" date in well-preserved circulated grades, but becomes exceedingly difficult any finer.
