Description: The Blackhawk Collection. 38 graded MS-65+, 34 higher at PCGS. One of the commons for the Indian half-eagle series, 1926 sheds that mantle as soon as the grade surpasses the gem grade level, even if by virtue of a mere "plus". Tens of thousands mint-state examples exist but take a look at the population report to reinforce how very few survive near the pinnacle of quality. This MS-65+ exudes absolutely incredible, creamy medium golden luster that swirls so mightily, it threatens to helicopter right off the surface. About a dozen tiny intrusions nick the cheek but the fields, satin-fresh and clean as can be, are impeccable.
