Description: The Blackhawk Collection. Mintage: 59,000. 127 graded AU-58, 184 higher at PCGS. Often seen with granular texture, this 1915-S shows more refined satiny luster, nearly full despite a couple of points of circulation. It's too bad any wear exists, because this is such a contact-free Indian eagle that the grade would surely be in the upper echelons of UNC otherwise. A terrific example of a well-known key to the series that will save thousands off the cost of potentially less-attractive mint-state.
