Description: The Blackhawk Collection. Mintage: 59,850. 39 graded MS-62, 62 higher at NGC. That low mintage is what draws many collectors to the 1908-S, although near-choice examples can be found with patience. Here is a hands-down glorious example that boasts terrific luster despite only an average strike. A few too many tiny abrasions explain the grade, yet again on the positive side, the color shows beautifully under good lighting.
