Screaming, blatantly energetic luster practically rebounds off the surface, suggesting this as one of the later strikes from the limited run of 1888 gold dollars. This is a stunning example that invites close scrutiny, where hardly the slightest blemish at all can be found. Perhaps a single, brief linear abrasion flung way off into the obverse left field denies perfection.
