Description: The Crimson Collection. Almost certainly an example from the well-known bag hoard that was dispersed in the early 1960s, the surface exhibits exactly what one generally sees of comparable pieces: gleaming platinum-grey surfaces with a plethora of tiny contact marks. In this case, however, the marks truly are tiny, to the extent that they distract from the luster almost not at all. A booming white silver dollar that hands-down serves well for type purposes.
