Description: Sheffield Collection. 3 graded AU-58 PL, 4 higher at NGC. It took a while for PCGS to endorse the "prooflike" notation that NGC has been making available for decades, yet the advent of such nomenclature allows the collector to see the huge disparity in availability of such flashy and exciting examples. This is a blatant cameo contender as well, given the thick, fluffy texture on the devices, especially Liberty's portrait, and were it not for light finger friction, the fields would even more heavily amplify the contrast. A small carbon dot or two on the reverse suggest that this example has not been abrasively cleaned or abused, only adding to its appeal, but a couple of linear contact marks on the upper reverse must be noted.
