Description:	North Louis County Collection. Sensational trinkets from the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis comprise this pairing which unquestionably will appeal to collectors of fractional gold. They were both designed to approximate the size of California 1/4-dollar and 1/2-dollar pieces, but obviously were struck to higher quality standards -- so high that both are hands-down DMPL examples per NGC. First is H-61-310, confirmed to have ten stars surrounding the lovely fleur-de-lis emblematic of French influence in the region. This is a remarkable survivor -- they can be found in high grade, but MS-67 DMPL is still notable. Accompanying is H-61-330, faintly hairlined but gleaming with inimitably reflective mirrors. Two coin lot.
