Lot Title: 1877-CC Seated Liberty half-dollar AU-50, and an 1887 Seated Liberty quarter AU-55, both PCGS
Lot Number: 213
Description: Gigi Consignment. At first blush, the 1887 quarter seems mint-state since it boasts almost fully lustrous, silvery surfaces. While not prooflike as are many competing examples, the motifs possess plenty of mint frost. Prodigious orange-grey drapes over 1877-CC, this a very well struck example that seems to have even less wear than the AU-50 grade implies. Only a lack of luster in the fields separates the coin from a much higher grade. Two coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
