Description: Hobnob Collection. The cataloger would contend that this is a fully struck example -- not a given by any means for turn-of-the-century proof pesos. Both of the eagle's talons appear to be finely sculpted, even that on the right (observed), which seems to be the single most difficult detail for the dies to bring up on these marvelous coins. Olive-bronze, magenta-peach and cyan iridescence showers over both sides.
