Description:	Walk The Plank Collection. Overton-101 (R.5-), the famous 1812/1 "large 8" Redbook entry. Sharpness may actually go a bit north of "Fine details" overall since the eagle's wings display all of the feathers, but the central portrait retains limited finer details with in the curls. That being said, the surface shows a considerable number of small depressions overall, difficult to describe, but appearing somewhat like surface corrosion smoothed over. It really won't matter - so many collectors have a hole in their sets where this coin needs to be, that the bidding will be hot and heavy.
