Description: As few as twenty-five total pieces are believed to still exist with regards to the vaunted 1851 Proof Restrike Liberty Seated dollar and most in very lofty grades. ANACS has certified this particular example as PR-58 Details Obverse Tooled-Polished. Unquestionably cleaned surfaces gleem with various areas of russet and purple tones adhering to both the obverse and reverse surfaces. This incredibly scarce issue is typically only found in much higher grades making this an "economical" way to fill a hole that very few have ever accomplished filling (ck).
