Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1798 Pointed 9, 4 Lines F-15
Lot Number: 511
Description: Maybe, Maybe Not Collection. Bolender-15, BB-112 (R.3). A die line connects the top left corner of the shield to the banner above, although it is pretty well worn for this middle-grade representative. Linear scabs from a prior encounter with a sharper object can be found above the bust but they are well toned in with the delightful, pleasing dove-grey patina. A broader laminated area of the reverse shows left of the eagle, and might well earn a "mint error" designation in today's environment, where that has become somewhat popular.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
