Description: The Clopton, Alabama Consignment. For the NGC assessment of only MS-63, this admirable and impressive high-relief Saint offers considerable impetus for an avid fan. Both sides exhibit untroubled fields and less abrading than is typical for the grade. The usual tremendous strike(s) brought up pinpoint-accurate details, right down to the corners of Liberty's mouth, and the eagle's eye rests remarkably deep in sunken relief. Only one obverse nick, just below the right (observed) knee, bears mentioning while a collection of small handling marks rest near the end of the eagle's near wing. Absolutely terrific as a "choice" example.
