Description: The Independent Clause Collection. European accumulations of 1910-D half-eagles were re-introduced to the American market in the 1970s and decreased demand for AU examples, but unlike hoard coins, this example displays scarcely any bagmarks and truly appears UNC at first glance. Accompanying is a 1913 also in AU-58, doused in pleasing powder-gold patina and showing a few stray abrasions. Two coin lot.
