Description: Andrew Lucre Collection. Mintage: 200. Poland issued five-coin proof sets in commemoration of Pope John Paul II's visit in 1982, but these are the circulation-strike equivalent coin sets intended for wider dispersal to the public. Interestingly, the latter are generally much scarcer and more valuable than the proof sets. Included here are the 100-zlotych KM-Y138, and the 200-zlotych KM-Y137. The latter coin's inner capsule has been broken, permitting the coin to accumulate some cloudy surfaces. Both remain in their original cases with one COA, yet professional conservation is strongly encouraged for this two coin lot.
