Description: M. Diatom Collection. An emphatic four-diamond strike and fabulous color dress up the cent, coming together to create a mark-free example with lockdown "gem" eye-appeal. Champagne-gold and ash-grey intermingle over the 3-cent, the surface beaming with unexpectedly vibrant luster ... but also a grader's hair clinging to 10:00 of the reverse. Finally, the half-dime offers sharpness that seems a bit better than average over eggshell-white surfaces, the fields filled with parallel striations due to a recently refinished die. Three coin lot.
