Description: Browning-1 is one of only two die-marriages for 1807, easily distinguished from B-2 by the location of the first "S" in STATES. It is nearly centered over the vee between the first two clouds. Outstanding cartwheel vibrancy shimmers over the frosty reverse, while the obverse displays pleasing luster as well, although flowline effect thins noticeably within the fields. A very few brief, light pin scratches scatter here and there but they are too thin and faint to argue against the grade. Struck from late dies, strongly clashed at "S OF" on the reverse.
