Lot Title: Five Buffalo nickels, all NGC CAC
Lot Number: 677
Description: Leontopodium Alpinum Collection. A bountiful herd of beautiful buffaloes fill this five coin lot from start to finish. All five issues are NGC certified and dually CAC accepted with little doubt as to why. Included in this grouping is a 1913-D Type 2 MS-63, 1914-D MS-62, a 1916 MS-64, a 1926 MS-64, and a 1930 MS-64. Strikingly similar toning patterns adorn the surfaces of all five specimens begging the question if these were “ripped and shipped” from an album collection. Awesome hole fillers for anyone attempting to put together a near gem set (ck).

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
