Description: Monterrey Collection. A fair amount of luster persists in the fields and nearly suggests the "about uncirculated" grade level, but some wear is noticeable throughout, including the highpoints of the wreath on the reverse. A small spot can be seen on Liberty's cheek and also suggests a more conservative grade. The undisputed key to the series, the 1885 very rarely shows up in grades above VG or so, as compared to other issues in the Liberty nickel series.
