Description: 65 graded MS-65 RD, 4 higher (all MS-66 RD) at NGC. Bright, yet warmly radiant coppery surfaces emit plenty of luster, undiminished by the passage of time. The surfaces are so clean that a smattering of delicate greyish toning dots are almost unfairly magnified by contrast. Devices are defined much more precisely than might be expected of a branch mint emission, although it would be a few years before production quality at Denver declined broadly. An especially nice example for the collector!
