Description: Sheldon-31 is one of the easiest die-marriages to attribute once you realize a vertical chip in the obverse left field rests just past the ends of the strands of hair. On the reverse, "T" in CENT rests noticeably lower than CEN. The leather-brown surface appears somewhat glossy with curious texture at arm's length, and closer inspection suggests smoothing, although not to a drastic extent. Faint microporosity remains, accompanied by only very few insignificant marks.
