Description: Cover up the conservative NGC grades and one will immediately think these are both "gem" Carson City dollars, as they beam and glow with gorgeous silvery whiteness. 1882-CC appears to be the slightly flashier example, and seems well struck at first glance, although isolated softness shows at the upper obverse and lower reverse. 1883-CC has a practically fully detailed reverse, yet displays a hint of softness at the ear. Two coin lot.
