Description: Some coral-gold layers over 1878-S and the cheek appears to have a disappointing number of minute abrasions, considering the "gem" grade assessment. 1879-S, on the other hand, is its usual brilliant, bright self, with a clean cheek and a fabulous strike. 1882-S follows suit in terms of incredible luster and an unblemished cheek, but it is not quite as well struck as the prior example. Three coin lot.
