Description: TJ Collection. Certified pieces include: Constantine I AE reduced nummus (Ch XF, dark with surface porosity) and Julian II BI majorina (Ch XF, dark and a little porous but shows outstanding sharpness). Several non-certified examples follow and include consignor notes and our grade ESTIMATES: Augustus denarius (VF, uneven strike), Parthia-Vologases III drachm (AU/UNC, terrific strike on an oval flan that manages to retain nearly all the reverse legends), Aurelian AE (VF, smooth and pretty flan), Crispus-Caesar AE follis (AU and really very nice), Sasanian Empire-Shapur II drachm (XF, choice surfaces and strike and simply very attractive), and Theodosius I AE (VF/XF, dark leather-brown surface texture). Eight coin lot.
