Lot Title: Error Currency - Three certified Federal Reserve Bank Note errors
Lot Number: 137
Description: First is a 1988A $5 (PMG AU53) "paper jam error" that was scrawled and wrinkled up prior to the overprint, resulting in the left seal an SN heavily skewed practically off the paper. Next is a 1991 $50 (PMG XF40 EPQ) showing a large, grotesque smear of dark green ink down the left side of the back of the note. Third and final is a 1976 $2 (PMG VF30) "misalignment error" which offers the most staid appearance of the trio, such that the overprint was only a bit low, pushing the serial numbers into the black text beneath them. Three note lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
