Description: BC-9a was the first banknote to feature a portrait of the future Queen Elizabeth II, creating demand for any nicer example on several levels. CU examples are very rare, and a terrific AU50 example like that now offered represents more or less the best that a typical collector can hope for. Very good margins surround pleasing vignettes with plenty of bright, vivid ink that aids the visual appeal. The scattered bluish dots on the back are inherent to the security paper for this series.
