Description: The wartime issue Banque du Congo 5-franc note is exceptionally rare in high grade when third-party graded, and virtually unknown at any CU level. The cataloger is aware of only a PCGS 63 PPQ example, exceeded in quality (apparently) by this remarkable PMG 64 EPQ note. Some gem-quality specimen notes also exist, and by comparison, the margins of the present note are adjusted only a little off from perfection, favoring the left edge just a bit.
