Description: An absolutely fantastic, delightfully original example, the 1938 New Rochelle benefits from gorgeous lilac-grey patina on the obverse, and extremely appealing tab-toning on the reverse, replete with iridescent amber-gold, crimson-violet and indigo hues. In stark contrast, the 1938 Texas displays not even a smidgeon of color as each side shines with unlimited depth of silvery brilliance. A nice study in contrasts for this two coin lot.
