Description: True, they are both common, yet here is a pair of astounding "wow" commemorative half-dollars, grading well above the "gem" level. The 1936-D Texas seems possibly a tad nicer than MS-66, with no marks visible especially on the intricately detailed reverse. But the York is a true treasure, showing no intruding marks whatsoever worthy of note, and the powerful strike imparted particularly gorgeous, satin-laden luster on both sides. Fabulous examples within this two coin lot.
