Description: Venerable Consignment. Unexpectedly, the obverse offers a hint of semi-prooflike appeal as the conjoined portraits exhibit fragile, frosted texture. The fields shimmer with brilliant, nearly flashing fields. This effect is not seen so much on the reverse, which seems to be of nominally brilliant finish. In addition, the details are exceptionally well defined, attesting to a marvelous strike. An oblong swath on the reverse far left, and a lengthier but narrower area on the right show darker toning, ebony-brown for the most part.
