Description: Five proof Franklin half-dollars form this PCGS certified lot of rattler style holder gems that are seldom seen in today’s marketplace. Four of the five issues are in the first generation rattler style holders and include a 1952 PR-65, a 1952 PR-65 CAC, a 1953 PR-66, and a 1954 PR-66 CAC. The fifth and final example is in a second generation light green label holder and is a 1955 PR-67 CAC. Unquestionably original surfaces are noticed throughout with light cloudiness and toning to attest to this very fact (ck).
