Description: King Arthur Consignment. Here is something almost unimaginable today: an early Walker with phenomenally original surfaces, not dipped, and never targeted for chemical "improvement". The surface has become completely endowed in rich, crunchy pewter-grey and charcoal coloration that does a phenomenal job of emulating vintage mint-set toning. Nevertheless, full-bodied luster ravishes both sides. There is a kind of indescribable feeling of joy when viewing a coin like this, that has triumphed against the efforts of those who feel compelled to "improve" every collectable coin they get their hands on.
