Lot Title: Five Seated Liberty half-dollars
Lot Number: 695
Description: Two-Three-Four Collection. A quintet of Seated Liberty half-dollar types comprise this grouping. Included are: 1853 (XF/reverse damaged, chalky-white with odd scraping damage noticed on the reverse, 1858-S (AU/obverse erasered, and the alteration makes no sense with such high-end details), 1859-O (XF at the very least, with stronger details and thick, supremely original antique grey patina), 1866 (XF or better, another nicely original coin and an underrated date), and 1867-S (XF/PVC, very white and possibly close to AU, but greenish haze suggests the PVC issue). Five coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
