Description: Kansas City Collection. Overton-112, the "hair lip" obverse. Wonderfully lustrous, the almond-silver surface simply blooms with shimmering satin texture, especially on the absolutely booming reverse. Also terrific, the strike displays plentiful delineation, right down through the end of the bust, and each of the eagle's feathers may be individually counted. A hairline or two randomly crosses over the obverse and a partial fingerprint may still be seen in the neck area.
