Lot #: Go
Lot Title: 1879-CC PCGS MS-63 (green label) CACCAC
Lot Number: 364
Description: Captain Jack Collection. VAM-5 has distinctive polishing lines drooping from the nostril, and seems to be a scarcer variety for this already-key entry. The GSA reserve of 1879-CC dollars was quite limited by comparison to other dates, and being such a key, the cataloger would suggest that grading events of individual coins has been severely overstated within the population reports, so those will not be quoted here. The fields are devoid of obvious contact, and being semi-prooflike, lovely flashing brilliance flashes therein. Compared to the usual abraded example, Liberty boasts a relatively clean cheek, although a dark spot dimples beneath the eye.
