Description: An absolutely, positively full strike sets the baseline for 1878 8TF, this coin replete with spectacular alabaster-white luster, aside from a touch of golden rim tone. 1879-S "Reverse of 1878" might have been touted as a commercial "UNC' back in the day, but the semi-prooflike fields display the unmistakable touch of friction that leads to the grade.
