Lot Title: Seven different New Orleans minted Morgan silver dollars in a Capital Plastics holder
Lot Number: 329
Description: Swirling luster spins about the surfaces of each example within this wonderfully displayed set of seven New Orleans minted Morgan silver dollars. Housed in a white Capital plastics display board the set covers every “O” minted silver dollar issue from 1898 through 1904. Grades range anywhere from MS-62 through MS-64 with only the 1901-O issue showing any significant amount of toning. The 1898-O and the 1900-O appear to be the closest threats to Gem Uncirculated status while the scarcest member of the set (the 1903-O) appears to be a very flashy MS-62 specimen (ck).

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
