Description: 9 graded MS-64+, 30 higher at NGC. For type representation, only the 1854 and 1855 are available enough in high grade to command strong consideration by the collector of normal financial means. In this case, the hallmark for acclaim as a truly premium example results from an outstanding strike, despite the presence of rather strongly clashed dies. The tops of "18" on the reverse are a bit ill-defined, but the rest of the numerals and, indeed, the entire wreath all possess unexpectedly sharp, pinpoint accurate detailing. Furthermore, the beautiful satiny luster seems practically immune from contact.
