Lot Title: Great Britain - 1574 6 pence S-2563 Eglantine XF-45, and an 1890 1 penny S-3954 MS-63BN, both PCGS
Lot Number: 141
Description: The Baroque Consignment. Three hundred years plus separates the production of this Great Britain pairing. The 1574 sixpence retains exceptionally deep antique-grey toning, near ebony at some angles, and was struck on a rather round planchet with minor edge issues (as struck). The 1890 penny features intensely lustrous surfaces with considerable red given the "BN" designation, and has a subtle toned-over scratch on the bust. Two coin lot.
