Description:	Bert Davies Collection. Due to poorly planned packaging and the trend of everything being certified, it has become increasingly difficult to find these pre-1960 mint sets in their original packaging. Three tenants make up this lot including a 1955, 1956, and a 1957 mint set that share many similar characteristics giving them a very familiar feel. Wonderful shades of royal purple intertwine with russet and golden hues to give these sets a very natural appeal. These would certainly make a good fit into any United States mint set collection (ck).
