Description: Overton-101. A small, sharp spike projects from the front of Liberty's drapery and clues in the collector as to the correct die-marriage for this handsome "curl based 2" half-dollar. While generally violet-rose with bluish undertones, some areas of the periphery display shimmering indigo-green and magenta accents. The densely layered patina precludes strong luster, but bidders should pay attention to the lack of major nicks, a handful of skinny abrasions on the neck being the only notable exception.
