Description: Tamarind Consignment. 1885 claims to be the key to the set, yet in the highest grades, 1886 exceeds the value and scarcity of its esteemed predecessor. At the NGC MS-62 grade, 1886 still trails 1885 a bit, yet this is an excellent example at the grade, with a clean cheek and, indeed, clean surfaces that practically lack abrasions. A bold die-crack erupts at the obverse far left. The luster is not quite as keen as it would be at higher grade, possibly due to very mild abrading on either side.
