Description: 115 graded MS-64 RD, 46 higher at PCGS. At least 80% of the vintage brick-red remains, succumbing here and there to hints of olive-copper patina shimmering across the obverse left, while spearmint-green nuances visit the reverse. While struck a little better than a typical branch-mint cent of the era, the reverse appears to be the sharper side, mated to typical, modest softness on the obverse. All in all, a distinctly above average presentation for the underrated and elusive 1924-D.
