Description: 265 graded MS-66 RD, 15 higher at PCGS. Sensational orange-gold luster endows the radiant surface with inimitable appeal that is seldom seen for early Lincoln cents, and certainly not prevalent for the crown jewel of the series. Neither side seems to exhibit any blemishes at all, and if there is truly any grade limiting factor to be found... well, bring your microscope and YOU look for it. The strike is on par with the best seen for the date, even smoothing over the tiny abrasions sometimes seen at the shoulder. As usual for key dates such as this, the population for the present grade is likely vastly inflated by resubmissions hoping to achieve the near-impossible MS-67 RD upgrade.
