Description: Collector appeal: "A" for effort and opportunity. An exceptionally aggressive effort has been made to assemble a collection of Lincoln cents from 1909 VDB through 2007-S such that all display details from the AU level on up, at the minimum. As might be anticipated, later dates are fully red uncirculated, with this becoming predominant from 1929 onward (with scattered exceptions). In an interesting twist, proof examples occupy slots for 1937 -- 1942, and 1950 -- 1964, and even 1965 -- 1967 are SMS representatives. Proofs are also present for 1968-S onward, including Dansco varieties. The best dates, mostly early, are EXCLUDED, such as: 1909-S VDB, 1909-S, 10-S. 11-DS, 13-D, 14-DS, 15-PS, 20-DS, 21-S, 22 plain, 23-S, 24-D, 25-S, 27-S, and 28-S. Of special note, the following should be AU at least, including: 1912-DS, 1913-S, 1915-D (UNC), 1916-PDS, 1917-PDS, 1918-PDS, 1919-PD, and numerous examples thereafter, including 1931-S (MS-63 RB), perhaps the most significant inclusion for the set. A near-complete album that requires little to realize masterpiece aspirations!
